AAFA to hold Annual Meeting, Feb 23-25 in Florida

The 2006 Annual Meeting of the American Apparel & Footwear Association (AAFA), a conference for industry executives, will be held February 23-25 at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort in Aventura, FL, with a focus on “Thriving in the Face of Economic, Political and Social Challenges.”

Registration is now underway, and early-bird registration discounts end January 6, 2006.

“Business continues to evolve and change at break neck speed, and economies from industrialized nations and third-world countries, alike, are experiencing significant effects from political and social transformations all over the globe,” said Wesley R. Card, AAFA Chairman and Chief Operating and Financial Officer, Jones Apparel Group, Inc. “All of this impacts us from the priorities that we set to the purchases that make.”
