Land Rover, the world-famous British car manufacturer, and Barbour, the legendary British outerwear label, have come together for the very first time to work on an exclusive Autumn/Winter 2014 range of men’s and women’s apparel and accessories.

Mixing the heritage brands’ signature elements of functionality and style, the practical-meets-durable line will be divided into two different collections—Country Lux and Black Label.

The first range Country Lux will be a balanced blend of both rustic countryside charm and contemporary tailoring cuts. The pieces will include tartan patterned numbers, as well as waxed and quilted jackets.

Black Label will be more urbanized in look with ensembles fit for both city and rural lives. The understated collection will feature glossy trim adorned knitwear and jackets.

The A/W range will be launched globally sometime in August 2014, in both the companies’ retail outlets and online.

Founded in 1894, Barbour specializes in designing, manufacturing and marketing men’s women’s and children’s clothing. The company is specially known for its waxed cotton outdoor jackets.

Established in 1948, Land Rover is known for its four-wheel-drive vehicles.
