German luxury brand Porsche Design has roped in the lead vocalist of American rock band Linkin Park, Chester Bennington, to create a menswear capsule collection.

Titled as Chester Bennington for Porsche Design, the six-piece range is a balanced mix of the 38-year-old musician’s signature alternative rock ethos and the Bietigheim-Bissingen-based label’s minimalistic design aesthetics.

Slated to be launched sometime in June, 2014, the range, which includes a slim cut black coated denim, a leather motocross jacket and a limited-edition graphic print T-shirt, will be exclusively sold at Porsche Design stores around the world.

While speaking on the line, the Arizona-born singer-songwriter said, “I’ve always loved fashion and had a deep appreciation for quality design. The sleek approach of Porsche Design’s craftsmanship is unparalleled. This collaboration has been a dream come true, and I’m really excited to show what we’ve created together.”

“Chester is the epitome of modern rock, yet is a man of discerning taste with a strong passion for iconic design and excellent craftsmanship—two attributes that are synonymous with our brand,” Juergen Gessler, the CEO of the Porsche Design Group, said in a press release.

Founded by the legendary designer of the iconic sports car Porsche 911, Professor Ferdinand Alexander Porsche, in 1972, Porsche Design products, which includes men’s and women’s ready-to-wear fashions, are designed in the Porsche Design Studio in Zell am See, Austria.
