The designer duo Meera and Muzaffar Ali held a preview of their forthcoming Spring Summer 2007 collection, titled Khattati, at their crescent store.
In Urdu, Khattati, means calligraphy or inscription and their new collection mirrors the intricate delicacy of artistic Lucknow.
Flowing tresses, striking jewelry, rich brocades and silks, elaborate embroidery and elegant cut clothes are Indo-Western with embroidery in Chikan work, Zardozi and Awadhi Tukri and Daraz techniques.
