After receiving good response for his men's wear spring/summer 2012 collection, French fashion designer Christian Lacroix showcased his 'Intimates' collection for spring/summer 2012, featuring lingerie and beachwear lines for women, in collaboration with 80-year old French lingerie house Lejaby.
Lacorix, who owned a company by his name, hit financial difficulties in 2009 and had to stop creating elaborate made-to-measure couture pieces.
The label has now been reopened and the Lacroix 'Intimates' collection will be available to buy in stores from January next year.
Lacroix is well-known in the fashion industry for his expensive fantasy creations and intricate detailing.
