Europe's premium streetwear brand U Clothing will be launching a range of menswear collection for SS12. The brand of Universal Clothing Company was instituted last year and it shifted its production base to Italy during the early part of the current year.
The new collection is expected to hit the markets during next season and would comprise of daily wears like deconstructed shirting, men's workwear and luxury sweats.
The menswear collection for U Clothing has been designed by Rietveld Academy (NL) graduate, Rafal Antos, who was previously associated with Gap Europe as Design Manager and had last year designed the womenswear collection for U.
While drawing inspiration from Californian lifestyle, U readily blends 70s beach culture with Japanese perfection. The deconstructed designs are prepared using premium fabrics like French terry, finely spun jersey and Italian shirting, and present a contemporary look.
Quality and craftsmanship well match the brand's high-end criterions in Europe. The complex cuts and specifications call for precision and expertise which the brand is able to deliver.
Presently, only some selected outlets in UK like Harvey Nichols and Harrods display the U Clothing brand.
Meanwhile, the brand has inked deals with one of the Europe's top most sales agencies, Futurenet and Tomorrow Ltd., which has distributed brands like Raf Simons.
Celebrities like Eva Mendes, Courtney Cox-Arquette, Gemma Arterton and Reese Witherspoon have put on U Clothing's luxe casualwear collection.
