Hussein Chalayan, a world-renowned fashion designer known for his innovative use of materials, will be launching his new label at the New York fashion week.
According to the design house, the new collection 'Chalayan Grey Line' will be a capsule collection of key pieces designed to be “a wardrobe with a modern relevance”. This will be in addition to the designer's runway line.
The new label will showcase fresh designs that have different proportions, including light outerwear in cocoon shapes, cotton slip dresses, and a simple shift dress with new draped details at the back.
The collection is in a palette of gray, white, sage and tea rose, with a flash of tangerine.
