SUPERGIRL collection to be launched exclusively at Intuition

Warner Bros. Consumer Products, on behalf of DC Comics, is launching a SUPERGIRL fashion collection based on the universally recognized symbol of strength and leadership, the S-shield. The collection, designed for today's young women, features an exclusive line of merchandise created by select partners. The SUPERGIRL collection will debut at Los Angeles-based specialty boutique, Intuition, with a kick off event on Thursday, May 10th. The clothes and accessories will be available for purchase exclusively at Intuition and shopintuition.com.

Supergirl has joined forces with Girls Inc. of Greater Los Angeles, a national nonprofit youth organization dedicated to inspiring all girls to be Strong, Smart and Bold. Proceeds from the kick off event will benefit Girls Inc. and their mandate to provide vital educational programs to millions of American girls, particularly those in high-risk, underserved areas.

Members of the Girls Inc. Girls Advisory Board will be on-hand the evening of the event. The Advisory Board provides leadership training and opportunities for participants to address some of the most compelling community and social issues facing girls and young women today.

"Our efforts are research-based, nationally renowned educational programs that help girls realize their potential and exercise their rights. Although we currently serve over 17,000 girls in the Greater Los Angeles area, our goal is to expand our outreach to include each and every girl who desires Girls Inc. programs. Together with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, we celebrate and honor the girls and young women who thrive and succeed in all areas of life, undefined and unlimited by ability or thought," said Kathryn Seiffert, Executive Director, Girls Inc. of Greater Los Angeles.
