Fred Levine, founder of M. Fredric boutiques, will present the latest collection of Ed Hardy tattoo-inspired clothing at a celebrity-studded fashion show that will transform L.A.'s popular Grove shopping center into a circus-themed extravaganza on Thursday, October 18, 2007, at 9 P.M.
Open to the public, the event will fill the entire open-air plaza and be replete with a marching band, dancing Chinese dragons and tigers, stilt walkers, skate boarders, BMX riders, and other over-the-top performers.
One hundred models will strut throughout the promenade, and 16 top European models will grace a 500-ft. red carpet runway, placing the latest Ed Hardy fashions on full parade in front of an estimated audience of 10,000 people.
According to designer Christian Audigier, "I wanted a public fashion show because my clothing is embraced by all the people, from celebrities to rappers, bikers, parents and kids. This is my way to say thanks." Fred Levine offered to sponsor the show, saying, "Ed Hardy clothing is so colorful and brings added fun to the M. Fredric shopping experience."
