The name of the label 2964 Garmisch is combined of the altitude of the Zugspitze and the company's headquarter, Garmisch-Partenkirchen. On top of the Zugspitze the two founders of 2964 Garmisch Thomas Grasegger (Trachten-manufaktur Grasegger) and women's clothing manufacturer Christian Bauer (Creation Bauer) had the idea for the new alpine inspired label.
Together with their designer Erwin Hanel they are aiming successfully and steadily to create an individual and fashion-able design with alpine authenticity. The label is already available in more than 140 German and Austrian shops and in the winter season 07/08 2964 Garmisch can finally be obtained in the USA. The founders intend to enlarge this national and international success.
2964 Garmisch is designed for customers, who are in search for special authenticity, originality and recognizable roots.
