BANDHEJ works with handloom or hand crafted (hand woven, block printed, tie & dye) textiles. All textiles are designed at our design studio and produced by very skilled traditional craftspeople from all over the country including in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Kutch, Rajasthan and Benaras.
Clothes are designed and produced at the BANDHEJ workshop in Ahmedabad. Intricate embellishments, hand embroidery, mookesh-work and appliqué is done by a large number of traditional craft people in and around Ahmedabad.
Today BANDHEJ has a chain of 7 shops, two in Ahmedabad, one each in Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Delhi and Pune.
