Resteröds launches Autumn/Winter collection for 2009. AW 09 collection is a blend of the American working class hero and the French bohemian activist of the late sixties. The collection encourages walking the talk, engaging and participating.
The collection presents a rugged look with heavier textures, knitted structures, big braids and soft washed surfaces for that nice walked in vintage feel. Rich in details such as irregular cut back yokes, denim buttons on wool coats, waterproof zippers on tailored jackets. The signature pieces are aviator jackets in washed canvas, padded biker jackets in treated leather, slim dungarees with a dropped crotch - all made for both men and women.
The colours ranges from winter white and high lights of pink and bright blue to a more grounded brown, black, navy and army green. The patterns used in the collection are geometric snowflakes, mini stripes, over sized checks and fresh winter dip dyes.
Resteröds autumn creates a look with garments layer on layer feel with oversized hand knitted jumpers and pullovers, baggy chinos, voluminous mini dresses to be worn with heavy boots.
