Tarrant Apparel Group clarifies associated press article

Tarrant Apparel Group a design and sourcing company for private label and private brand casual apparel, issued a statement clarifying a June 7th article by the Associated Press.
The Associated Press reported on an SEC filing made by the Company on Thursday, June 7, 2007. The Company believes the AP article may be misleading, and is publishing this press release to further explain the disclosure made by the Company in its SEC Filing.
In its Current Report on Form 8-K, the Company reported that it had postponed its 2007 annual meeting of shareholders to allow the Company to address comments it had received from the SEC in connection with the Company's previously terminated acquisition of The Buffalo Group.
As a consequence of one comment, the Company will amend its Annual Report on Form 10-K to include additional audited financial statements of American Rag Cie, LLC, an unconsolidated subsidiary of Tarrant Apparel Group, for the year ended December 31, 2005.
