Tommy Hilfiger to acquire European footwear rights

The transaction is expected to close by August 15, 2007. No financial details have been disclosed. The organization in Osnabruck will remain an independent entity yet will be managed as a division of Tommy Hilfiger Europe BV. Mr. Dirk Pues, member of the Tommy Hilfiger Footwear management team since the start and recently one of its managing directors will remain in his position and report to Daniel Grieder, COO and President of Tommy Hilfiger Europe BV.
Tommy Hilfiger Group, through its subsidiaries, designs, sources and markets men's and women's sportswear, jeanswear and childrenswear. The Company's brands include Tommy Hilfiger and Karl Lagerfeld. Through a range of strategic licensing agreements, the Company also offers a broad array of related apparel, accessories, footwear, fragrance and home furnishings.
