La Crosse-based ORC Industries has taken over Denver's Redfeather Snowshoes.
ORC reported that this US $2 million acquisition is expected to generate new jobs in La Crosse, specifically for physically challenged persons.
Shirley Holman, Chairwoman, ORC, said that the Snowshoe production, which will shift from Colorado to La Crosse this year, is labor-intensive and fits well with the “skills and successes” of ORC employees.
ORC, deals in military apparels, is a non-profit organization, whose primary duty is towards their physically challenged employees.
