Specialist boots company Wellco Enterprises Inc has appointed Lee Ferguson to the posts of President, Chief Executive Officer and to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the company, effective from March 20th 2006.
Ferguson most recently served as President of the Armor and Defense Group of Arotech Corporation in Auburn, Alabama. Before joining Arotech, he held the position of Chief Operating Officer of Specialty Defense Group in Dunmore, Pennsylvania.
Prior to that, Ferguson was President and Chief Operating Officer of Bike Athletic Company in Knoxville, Tennessee. He brings to Wellco vast experience in manufacturing and sales and particularly in government contracting. In his previous positions, he has shown an excellent record of controlling costs, increasing revenues, and improving manufacturing processes.
Wellco Enterprises Inc began operations in Waynesville North Carolina, Ro-Search Inc a subsidiary, develops shoe manufacturing processes and licenses its technology to other manufactures world-wide.
