Odin Retail picks Retail Assist's skill to key PO.P launch

Retail Assist has provided expertise to sustain fresh launch of a new overseas competitor to the UK and Eire children-wear markets.

Alan Morris Managing Director of Retail Assist infomrs that any international retailer eyeing to enter or escalate in UK market can get aid and support from them.

The British company has been chosen as technology partner by Odin Retail; the UK and Eire license arm of preferred Swedish childrenswear retailer PO.P.

With its 55 stores and iconic status, PO.P's unique clothing for babies and children dominates its home market and enjoys great brand loyalty.

PO.P is owned by RNB Retail and Brands (RnB), Sweden's 10th leading dealer. It has so far had a successfully business run in Norway, Iceland, Estonia and Latvia prior to entering UK market.

Odin Retail has offered concessions within House of Fraser stores as an entry point to market for its PO.P garments.

Retail Assist has been retained to position up and sustain the IT infrastructure to facilitate and licensing to activate in the UK.

According to Mats Nilsson, Managing Director of Odin Retail's, “Retail Assist are ideally placed to support retailers looking for new channels to market.”

Retail Assist have planned and built a number of data interfaces between the Swedish parent, Odin Retail, and House of Fraser. It is based upon Retail Assist's established Linux polling solution which allows data to be transformed and easily polling into another retailer's system.
