JC Penney Company Inc unveiled an all-star roster of celebrities who will be joining forces for "JCPENNEY JAM...THE CONCERT FOR AMERICA'S KIDS."
Hosted by Dr Phil and Robin McGraw and music-directed by David Foster, the live concert will mark the largest project ever undertaken in America to raise awareness of the need for access to quality afterschool programs and provide funds so that more working families have access to these programs.
A multi-genre lineup of music icons will headline this exciting live show taking place at Los Angeles' historic Shrine Auditorium on Wednesday, June 14.
Those scheduled to appear include country superstars Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans and Martina McBride, pop megastar Christina Aguilera, rock supergroup 3 Doors Down, legendary vocal tenor Andrea Bocelli and Latin GRAMMY winning pop star Alejandro Sanz. Music icons Jon Bon Jovi and Sting will also be recording special performances and vignettes to be included in the concert.
"Millions of youngsters are being left alone every day," said Dr. Phil McGraw. "Afterschool programs can be an absolutely life-changing experience. It can change whether kids take a left or a right turn in their lives.
