Retailer Saks Incorporated announced that it plans to open its first Parisian store in metropolitan Jackson, Mississippi (Ridgeland, Mississippi) in fall 2007.

A two-level, 130,000 square foot Parisian specialty department store will be the anchor in Renaissance at Colony Park, a new "lifestyle" center being developed in Ridgeland, Mississippi (metropolitan Jackson). The store is scheduled to open in fall 2007.

Renaissance at Colony Park will be designed as an open-air village and will be a dynamic retail, dining, and entertainment destination for all of metropolitan Jackson. Guests will be able to shop in a pedestrian friendly, park-like setting with a vast selection of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues.

R. Brad Martin, Chairman of Saks Incorporated, noted, "We have looked for the right opportunity to open a Parisian store in the rapidly growing metropolitan area of Jackson for some time, and the development at Renaissance at Colony Park is the ideal setting for our showcase store. Our new Parisian store clearly will be distinctive from the other retail offerings currently available in the marketplace."

Parisian is known for its superior level of personalized service, unique store design, special amenities, and distinctive merchandise offerings. The stores carry a wide selection of fashion apparel, shoes, and accessories for the entire family, as well as cosmetics and specialty gift items.
