Inditex has decided to implement in advance the measures aimed at facilitating the reconciliation of work and family life envisaged in the bill of the Equality of Opportunities Act seen at the Parliament.

Inditex considers the improvement of working conditions to be a key matter of the social responsibility of companies, which must be able to adapt their internal regulations to the existing social reality. Additionally, this adaptation fosters the competitive abilities of companies and in this very case, it does so through a mutual commitment between the company and its employees.

The specific measures approved by Inditex are shown below:

- Chance of spending the annual holiday in periods other than the pregnancy, childbirth or breastfeeding and the maternity leave, even subsequently to the end of the calendar year.

- Opportunity to accumulate the breastfeeding leave in full days.

- Right to discontinue the employment agreement due to risks during the breastfeeding period of under nine months old babies.

- Independent paternity leave regardless of the maternity leave: eight days in the event of birth, adoption or fosterage, to be added to the paternity leave currently in force. This leave shall be extended in two more days in case of multiple birth, adoption or fosterage.

- Acknowledgement of the right of the father to enjoy the maternity leave if the mother should die, even if she were not employed.
