Mr Brunsdon's latest collection features a new kind of 100 per cent Australian Merino wool poplin fabric developed by AWI that is a natural textile, developed to provide designers with lightweight and easy-care fabric.
The pure wool fabric has no added chemicals and can be machine-washed, requires minimal ironing, has natural elasticity for comfort, is delicate, soft and drapes easily.
"Working with AWI provides me with the opportunity to design my signature style evening wear from Australian Merino wool, whilst at the same time providing my customers with high quality fabrication that they have come to expect.,” Mr Brunsdon said.
Participants of the free AWI Innovation in Action forum will also get the chance to:
Meet Jules Dorrian, AWI's blowfly control expert who will reveal the latest options for reducing flystrike in sheep flocks;
Hear how international clothing retailer Polo Ralph Lauren is helping wool win back the hearts and minds of consumers; and
See demonstrations of the new Upright Posture Shearing Platform, designed to make the job of shearing easier, more efficient and safer.
