The Leonardo awards for the year 2006 will be given to Giorgio Armani for his excellence in the fashion industry.
This has been decided by President of the Leonardo Committee Laura Biagiotti, the National Institute for Foreign Trade Umberto Vattani, Confindustria Luca Cordero di MOntezemolo and the minister of culture Francesco Rutelli.
This ceremony had been attended by the dignitaries like Minister of Environment Alfonso Pecoraro Scanio, the Undersecretary of the Prime Minister's office Ricardo Franco Levi, the President of CNEL Antonio Marzano, the associates of the Leonardo committee and many others.
