SIGGRAPH 2005 to organize cyberfashion 4

SIGGRAPH 2005 announces CyberFashion 4 (or “0100” in binary code), taking fashion to a whole new level with the integration of technology. The show brings together 35 exhibitors from 10 countries presenting a wide variety of wearable computers and displays, “smart clothes”, luminous wearables, future couture, and CAD/CAM jewelry.

The doors open at 8:00pm Wednesday, August 3rd at the LA Convention Center Hall A Auditorium, with a pre-show performance by musical team, Mutaytor at 7:30pm. In addition, there will be an academic "special session" panel before the show from 5:30-7:30pm. The extensive offering of innovative prototypes and exciting world premieres launches the future of high-tech adornment.

Each category in the show offers a range of designs by a number of artists that will prove to be entertaining and unique, and in most cases will include rather unexpected functional features. Exhibitors include mainstream accessory giants, Oakley and FOSSIL�, as well as cutting edge technology companies, including primary sponsor, Charmed Technologies.
