Each of the 34 creations on the 34 models was a work of art that had been painstakingly visualized with just the right amount of detailing embroidery and construction.
Pleated bodices, cut away piped shoulders, moulded skirts and jackets, pin tucks and pleats on bodice, oversized embroidered cuffs, lattice work to texture the dresses – the list of innovative detailing was endless as Narendra embellished most of them onto a single garment and yet they all made creative music together beautifully.
The finale had Lakme Freespirit models - Raima Sen in a champagne olive taffeta textured sleeveless dress; Vipasha Agarwal in a blue gold draped creation and Indrani Das Gupta in an olive ensemble.
The thunderous applause at the end of the show proved that Narendra Kumar enthralled the glitterati of Mumbai at the Lakme Fashion Week Finale with his amazing designing skills.
