Declaracions by Scarlett Johansson Scarlett Johansson declared: I have never attended these awards before, it is a new experience for me. I think it is fantastic for these young designers to have the opportunity to win such an incredible award. I think it is an excellent initiative. On her collaboration and the opportunity to create a design for MANGO, she commented: I am currently collaborating with MANGO on the design of bags for charitable purposes, in order to help organisations like Intermón Oxfam. It is a very simple collaboration. They say to me: Do what you want and for who you want.
MANGO is a very generous brand that allows me this freedom to create, and also to choose the charitable organisation to work with. I think it's fun collaborating with MANGO. In relation to her future plans on a personal level she explains: In 10 years... I hope to have a family, perhaps, perhaps not... I would like to continue acting in films, to produce… I don't know, in truth I don't think of the future. I try to live in the present and I can't imagine what it would be like.
Declaracions by Jean Paul Gaultier With regard to the MANGO Fashion Awards, Jean Paul Gaultier commented: An award like this is a great opportunity for young designers. As well as being a very generous financial award, the opportunity to produce a collection for a brand like MANGO is very important and can open many doors. If a competition like this one had existed when I started designing, I would have entered without hesitation.
