BasicNet inks licence deals for Mexico and Egypt

Kappa will be distributed during the first year of activity in more than 25 multi-brand sales outlets; two single-brand Kappa sales outlets are scheduled to be opened by the end of 2006.

Marketing and communication investments supporting the recognition of the brand on the Egyptian market are planned for the first period for a value of 30,000 dollars, in addition to technical sport sponsorship agreements, Kappa's traditional promotional and merchandising vehicle.

BasicNet SpA, headquartered in Turin, is the owner of the brands Kappa, Robe di Kappa, Jesus Jeans, and K-Way, as well as the holder of the international license for the Superga brand.

The Group, a leader in the production and merchandising of sport and leisure apparel, is also active in the sector of sport and leisure footwear, and the parent company has been listed since 17 November 1999 on the Italian Stock Exchange.
