Moldova to pay customs duty on leather import

Ukraine's Economy Minister Arseni Yatseniuk informed that Ukrainian Government has has decided to withdraw leather and skin from free trade hence Moldova will have to pay custom duty on imports henceforth.

Ukrainian Ministry of Economy in talks with Moldova earlier suggested to import leather and skin, paying zero tax, and import of goods delivered to other countries be under general conditions, but the talks remained inconclusive.

Presently, 99 percent of leather and skin imported from Ukraine into Moldova is at zero tax, said Yatseniuk.
