Footwear exports to Canada grow

Leather-capped shoes from Vietnam have caught the fancy of Canadian consumers as the demand for them grows by the day.
Announcing this, the Ministry of Trade said setady rise in the exports to Canada for all kinds of Vietnamese footwear has been recorded this year.
This includes sports shoes and leather-capped shoes in particular.
Export earning from Canada for 2005 stood around US $75 million for footwear alone which was 55 percent growth over last year.
Canada, thus became Vietnam's tenth largest footwear importer, proudly announced the Ministry of Trade.
