Bonia Corporation Bhd, apparel and accessories maker and retailing group proposes to open 62 new local and international outlets investing about RM10 million next year, informed Group Managing Director Albert Chiang.
Number of such outlets would include boutiques and counters, said Chiang.
After the company's annual general meeting, he revealed to media persons that the Middle East, Hong Kong, Thailand and Vietnam were the new destinations that the compnay is seeking to capture.
With 11 boutiques and around 60 counters outside Malaysia, the company has 35 boutiques and over 200 counters in leading department stores of the country.
Chiang said 20 percent of the company's revenue came from its overseas business.
Company foresees the Middle East as one of the lucrative overseas destinations apart from Asean countries like China and Japan.
Sales revenue from Middle East markets might add RM6 to 8 million by the end next year, predicted Chiang.
