Consumer print advertising will include the September and October 2005 issues of Child, Parenting and Parents magazines and the November 2005 issue of Parents Baby. The series of two full-page, color ads features either a long-haired kitten or baby duckling with the headline "Rejected, Not Soft Enough," 'stamped' adjacent to each animal and followed by the copy: "Gymboree SuperSoft cotton. To say we have high standards when it comes to soft may be an understatement." The ads include the Gymboree logo and the Seal of Cotton.

Lisa Bayne, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Gymboree explains, "For newborn babies, you want the softest and highest quality fabrics against their tender skin. That is why Gymboree developed SuperSoft. This joint marketing campaign with Cotton Incorporated reinforces Gymboree's expertise in bringing the best possible products to its customers."

The Gymboree Corporation's specialty retail brands offer unique, high-quality products delivered with personalized customer service. As of June 15, 2005, the Company operated a total of 646 stores: 574 Gymboree retail stores (546 in the United States and 28 in Canada), 57 Janie and Jack retail shops and 15 Janeville stores in the United States. The ComCompany also operates online stores at gymboree.com and janieandjack.com, and offers directed parent-child developmental play programs at 521 franchised and company-operated centers in the United States and 25 other countries.
