ARAMARK - one of 'Top 50 Employer for Minorities' by Fortune Magazine

Career apparel provider ARAMARK has been named a "Top 50 Employer for Minorities" by Fortune magazine in a special diversity-focused edition dated August 22, 2005. All companies in the Fortune 1000, as well as the 200 largest privately held US companies, were queried on information such as compensation, managerial diversity, board of director and workforce composition, CEO commitment to diversity and other key indicators.

"ARAMARK's ability to understand and mirror the diversity of our clients and customers allows us to create superior, innovative solutions," said Joseph Neubauer, ARAMARK Chairman and CEO. "A commitment to diversity as both a people and a business strategy helps us achieve our vision of being a company where the best people want to work."

Other recent recognition for ARAMARK's commitment to diversity includes:

- ARAMARK was named in 2005 as one of the best companies for diversity by Black Enterprise magazine, one of the nation's leading business publications.

- Deirdre Drake, Sr. Vice President, Human Resources, ARAMARK Healthcare and Education, named in July 2005 among the top 50 corporate executives under the age of 50 by Black MBA Magazine.

- Dennis Maple, Executive Vice President, ARAMARK Facilities Services -- Education, was recognized by Black Enterprise magazine on its 2005 list of 75 Most Powerful Blacks in Corporate America.

- ARAMARK received the 2005 Silver Diversity Award, sponsored by the Greater Valley Forge Human Resource Association, Inc. (GVFHRA), a regional chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
