CPL prices decline last week from bearish sentiments

In the last week ending Sept 26, the Chinese caprolactam (CPL) market continued to present a soft outlook and prices declined due to bearish market sentiments and unfavourable market fundamentals.

CPL market showed a weak consolidation and prices also fell from weak downstream demand and low trading activity during the week.

Mainstream offers for CPL in the Chinese USD market stood in the range of US$ 2150/ton to US$ 2160/ton in the past week.

In the Chinese domestic market, selling offers of CPL were assessed in the range of RMB 16,450/ton to RMB 16,650/ton, but were traded in the range of RMB 16,400/ton to RMB 16,500/ton.
