High inventory last week leads to fall in Asian propylene

Poor energy market, high inventory levels and weak buying trends led to propylene prices falling in the last week ending Sept 26.

In the past week, selling offers of propylene in F E Asian market declined and were quoted in the range of US$ 1290/ton to US$ 1295/ton.

Propylene prices in S E Asian market too fell and were assessed in the range of US$ 1235/ton to US$ `1240/ton last week.

In the Chinese market, propylene prices went down by US$ 10/ton and were offered in the range of US$ 1345/ton to US$ 1350/ton.

Selling offers for propylene in Indian market stood at US$ 1240/ton last week.
