Benzene prices went down in Europe on Wednesday (1st Oct) due to weak downstream product prices in the region. In US also, benzene trends fell from weak demand.

The European contract price for the month of October 2014 was fully settled at the € 1045/ton CIF ARA, higher by € 6/ton as compared to the contract prices of September.
