Ethylene prices decline in major Asian markets last week

The prices of ethylene declined in major Asian markets last week ending October 3, 2014, compared to the previous week ending September 26, 2014, due to weak downstream product prices in the region.
 
In Korea, the average price of ethylene in the last week was US$ 1510/ton, which is a decline of $5/ton or 0.33 percent from the previous week.
 
Likewise, in Japan, too, the average price of ethylene dropped by $15/ton or 1.01 percent to $1470/ton in the last week.
 
In Southeast Asian markets, the average price of ethylene decreased by $5/ton or 0.33 percent to $1510/ton in the last week.
 
In Indian market, the average price of ethylene in the last week was $1510/ton, down $5/ton or 0.33 percent from the previous week.
