Benzene prices went up in Asia on Wednesday (8th Oct) despite weak upstream energy prices in the region.

In Japan too, prices rose by US$ 5/ton or 0.42 percent and were quoted at US$ 1205/ton on Wednesday, against Tuesday.
In India, benzene prices also went up by US$ 5/ton or 0.41 percent and were offered at US$ 1210/ton yesterday versus the day before.
