Asian propylene prices dip from weak upstream last week

Asian propylene prices went down in the last week ending Oct 17, due to weak upstream energy prices in the region.

In Korea, average propylene prices slipped by US$ 45/ton or 3.49 percent and were quoted at US$ 1245/ton last week, as compared to its previous week ending Oct 10.

S E Asian average propylene prices fell slower by US$ 5/ton and were offered at US$ 1245/ton last week, down 0.40 percent from its previous week.

In the Indian market, average prices also declined by US$ 5/ton and were assessed at US$ 1245/ton last week, as compared to previous week, a decrease of 0.40 percent.
