Weak upstream pulls down Asian benzene prices

Asian benzene prices descended on Monday, 27th Oct, due to weak upstream energy prices in the region.

In Korea, prices declined by US$ 20/ton or 1.77 percent and were quoted at US$ 1110/ton on Monday, as compared to last Saturday (25th Oct)

In Japan, prices fell by US$ 10/ton and were offered at US$ 1125/ton on 27th Oct versus 25th Oct, a decrease of 0.88 percent.

In the Indian market, benzene trends went down by US$ 10/ton or 0.88 percent from last Saturday and were assessed at US$ 1130/ton on Monday.
