Higher upstream pulls up Asian benzene prices last week

Benzene prices went up in the Asian market in the last week ending 25th Oct, when compared with its previous week ending 18th Oct.

In Korea, benzene prices rose last week due to higher upstream and downstream product prices in the region.

Korean prices were assessed in the range of US$ 1125-1130/ton FOB Korea last week as compared to US$ 1075-1130/ton in its previous week.

In Japan, prices showed similar trend as Korea last week and were quoted in the range of US$ 1130-1135/ton CFR Japan against US$ 1080-1135/ton in its previous week.

In India, prices showed similar trend as Korea and Japan last week and were spotted in the range of US$ 1135-1140/ton CFR India vis-à-vis US$ 1085-1140/ton in its previous week.
