Weak downstream and upstream product prices pushed down ethylene prices in Europe, however in the US markets, prices rose steeply from strong buying activity in the last week ending Nov 22.

In US markets, average ethylene prices zoomed by 5 cents/pound and were assessed at 55 cents/pound last week, up 10 per cent from its previous week.
