Asian ethylene trends witness mixed reactions on Nov 24

Ethylene prices went up in parts of Asia on Monday (Nov 24) mainly due to higher upstream energy prices, while they stayed stable in other markets.

In S E Asia and India, prices were quoted at US$ 1215/ton on Monday, higher by US$ 5/ton as compared to the last week’s closing levels.

In N E Asia, prices were assessed at US$ 1175/ton, up US$ 5/ton as against prices at the end of last week.

However, in Korea and Japan, ethylene prices remained stable at US$ 1130/ton on Nov 24.
