PTA prices declined in Asia in the last week ending 29 Nov from sluggish downstream demand in the region coupled with fall in upstream product prices.

In SE Asia too, average prices also reduced by US$ 20/ton and were quoted at US$ 780/ton last week, down 2.5 per cent as against its previous week.
In the Indian market, average PTA prices too dropped by US$ 25/ton or 3.09 per cent from its previous week and were offered at US$ 785/ton last week.
In China, average PTA prices went down slower by US$ 5/ton and were spotted at US$ 765/ton last week from its previous week, a decrease of 0.65 percent.
