Weak support last week leads to Chinese CPL staying stable

Chinese caprolactam (CPL) trends maintained a bearish outlook and prices were relatively stable due to weak support from the downstream buyers in the last week ended Nov 29th.

In the Chinese USD market, mainstream offers for CPL were in the range of US$ 2030/ton to US$ 2040/ton, while trade prices were estimated between US$ 2020/ton to US$ 2035/ton.

Selling offers from CPL suppliers from Mexico and Russia were witnessed in the range of US$ 2030/ton to US$ 2040/ton.

In the Chinese domestic market, selling offers of CPL were in the range of RMB 15,150/ton to RMB 15,200/ton, but traded prices were around RMB 15,150/ton to RMB 15,180/ton.
