Asian PTA prices slipped on Wednesday (Dec 24) due to poor downstream demand coupled with fall in upstream product prices in the region.

In SE Asia, PTA prices were spotted at US$ 645/ton, again down by US$ 5/ton as against prices on Dec 23.
In India, prices were seen at US$ 650/ton, also lower by US$ 5/ton vis-à-vis prices on Tuesday.
