Asian PX prices climb last week from tight availability

PX prices climbed in Asia in the last week ending January 2, due to gain in upstream energy prices coupled with tight product availability in the region.

In Korea, average prices went up by US$ 10/ton or 1.22 per cent and were assessed at US$ 830/ton last week, as compared to its previous week ending Dec 26.

In SE Asia, average PX prices also rose by US$ 10/ton and were quoted at US$ 855/ton last week, up 1.18 per cent as against its previous week.
