Asian ethylene drops this week from ample availability

Asian ethylene prices dropped in this week from ample product availability in the region coupled with sluggish demand.

In Korea, prices were assessed at US$ 880/ton on Monday (Jan 19), which went down by 2.27 per cent during the week and were seen at US$ 860/ton on Jan 23.

In Japan, prices were quoted at US$ 870/ton on Jan 19, which slipped steeply by 4.60 per cent during the week and were offered at US$ 830/ton yesterday.

In SE Asia, prices were spotted at US$ 940/ton on Monday, which declined massively by 4.26 per cent during the week and were witnessed at US$ 900/ton on Jan 23.

In NE Asia, prices which were seen at US$ 920/ton on Jan 19, reduced by 2.17 per cent during the week and were seen at US$ 900/ton yesterday.
