Asian benzene prices expanded massively in the last week ending Jan 23 mainly from gain in upstream energy prices in the region.

In Japan too, average prices drove up by US$ 55/ton and were assessed at US$ 630/ton last week, up a steep 9.57 per cent as against its previous week.
In India, average prices also surged by US$ 55/ton and were spotted at US$ 635/ton last week from its previous week, an increase of 9.48 per cent.
