Ample availability plunges Asian ethylene trends last week

Ample of product availability in the region led to Asian ethylene prices plunging in the last week ending Jan 30.

In Korea, average prices dipped by US$ 25/ton or 2.86 per cent and were assessed at 850/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.

In Japan, average prices declined by US$ 35/ton and were quoted at US$ 825/ton last week, down 4.07 per cent from its previous week.

In SE Asia, average prices slipped by US$ 45/ton and were offered at US$ 880/ton last week, as against its previous week, a decrease of 4.86 per cent.

In NE Asia, average prices decreased by US$ 45/ton or 4.92 per cent from its previous week and were spotted at US$ 870/ton last week.

In India, average prices went down by US$ 45/ton or 4.86 per cent and were assessed at US$ 880/ton last week, as compared to its previous week.
