Co-optex introduces new products

The readymade linen shirts are made from fine quality yarns and will be available in two ranges, one in pure linen and other in cotton blends. The linen shirts to be sold under the brand name LICO, derived from Linens by Co-optex, will be available in six colours across all Co-optex stores in India.

“Unlike other brands, Co-optex provides a value addition by adding an organic element into its meticulously woven handloom products like eco-friendly organic cotton sarees aesthetically designed Dindigul cotton sarees, classical light-weight Salem silk sarees and attractive linen-cotton shirts,” TN Venkatesh, managing director, Co-optex told reporters while introducing the new products.

Co-optex will also offer naturally dyed silk sarees, which will be slightly expensive, and organic cotton running fabrics to its customers. Venkatesh further added that, “The new products, including sarees, kurtas, salwar kameez and shirts for men, would be available in the market with 30 per cent discount.”

Co-optex also plans to display its products at various statewide exhibitions and through its online website. (HO)
