"JDA and Charlotte Russe have reached a significant milestone by completing this complex rollout on time and on budget. I am proud to extend my congratulations to Charlotte Russe executives, their enthusiastic business users, as well as the JDA associates involved in this successful implementation," commented JDA CEO Hamish Brewer.
JDA Tops Industry Vendors in Solution Selection Wong had a positive experience implementing JDA's Portfolio applications at another retail company, which removed the major variable risk that other vendors posed.
According to Wong, other vendors of host systems had unproven solutions, older technology and too much instability among their executive team, while another vendor offered unreliable third-party consulting services with an implementation process described as "very painful" by some retailers.
"They selected PMM because it is a flexible solution that enables us to granularly analyze the sales mix in multiple formats and offers more hierarchy levels, which is important for fashion," explained Wong. Regarding JDA's planning and allocation functionality, Wong stated, "There have been a slew of software products introduced by various vendors, but those products just don't have JDA's market traction or broad footprint, and they didn't want to be one of the first implementations for those companies."

Wong said another market differentiator is JDA's module-to-module integration between the Arthur suite and PMM, as well as its open database design for easy access and management.
